Because we believe every Kiwi deserves to travel, we’re setting up the LayAway Holidays Flying Kiwis Foundation, to provide grants to deserving Kiwis who genuinely need to travel, but can’t afford to. Five percent of our profits will go to the Foundation.
The Flying Kiwi Foundation is administered by Public Trust. All grants for travel are decided by a committee which considers applications submitted to it.
Who can apply?
- Kiwis who need to travel to undertake research, study, lectures, demonstrations, training or activities of an educational nature for their own benefit or the benefit of others;
- Kiwis needing medical assistance or assisting others who need medical assistance;
- Kiwis taking part in sporting events such as the Special Olympics, or sports events which are to raise funds for charity or charitable in itself.
